Future Energy Leaders

The Future Energy Leaders (FEL) Finland programme connects young professionals from diverse backgrounds across the energy sector. The goal is to bring fresh ideas into the field, foster collaboration, support career development, and strengthen leadership capabilities.

Importantly, the programme is organized by Future Energy Leaders themselves. Members actively shape the content, format, and direction of the activities, ensuring relevance and impact.

Empowering the Next Generation of Energy Leaders

The programme offers a range of activities, including:

  • Workshops on pressing energy topics such as sustainability transitions, leadership in innovation, and energy systems resilience
  • Mentoring with experienced professionals from the energy field
  • Group discussions and collaborative projects that allow members to engage deeply with one another
  • Informal get-togethers

We emphasize peer learning, co-creation, and real-world relevance. Active participation is essential to get the most out of the programme. As all activities are carried out on a voluntary basis, every participant is expected to contribute their time and efforts to the shared success of the community.

The programme content is co-created with our members to ensure it meets their needs and ambitions. We offer mentoring opportunities to as many interested participants as possible. Monthly activities are arranged in a dynamic mix of engaging in-person events and flexible virtual sessions.
